Embracing our Truth

When we took our first step in November 2015. Our five-course Transgender Health Learning Series was framed by our Houston listening session. Transgender authors and reviewers started our journey as we embraced our truth along the way.

Finding our Village

We’ve traveled from El Paso to Nacogdoches. From Edinburg to Lubbock. Through Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. Along the way we found our village. A village with dedicated transgender people and parents of trans youth. Clinicians who improve the lives of trans people daily. Researchers who work with trans people and clinicians to conduct and disseminate research improving transgender lives.

Taking Action

It’s about me. It’s about you. It’s about us. The PRIDE Study is the only national effort to take on LGBTQ+ patient-centered outcomes research. Improving transgender and gender diverse lives begins by enrolling 2,500 Texans before the end of 2020. We have 579 Texans enrolled as of August 7, 2020. To reach our goal, another 1,921 trans Texans need to enroll by December 31. Together, we can help improve transgender and gender diverse lives — but only if You Take Action and Enrolling today.
